Run along the lines of a literary festival, it's now in its third year. All the more reason, then, for Merino and other translators of graphic novels to continue their good work. Franz Kafka's 1915 novella about a traveling salesman who wakes up to find he's turned into a huge insect makes for a compelling graphic novel. I’m looking for unique properties with a strong visual and storytelling style that would have appeal to a wide range of readers, including those new to the genre.
